  • Saturday Brunch Writing Sprints

    Alternating Saturdays | 11 a.m. AST No critique and no pressure to share. Settle in and make quiet, focused time for your own project alongside other writers. [45 Minutes]

Our 2027 Community Calendar

Each 12-week season includes six Writing Pods and six Saturday Brunch Sprints. Live sessions pause in April, August, and December. Your course purchase includes one selected 12-week community season. Self-paced lessons and course resources remain available outside the live-session calendar. Continued live participation is optional and purchased separately. After your included twelve weeks, you can continue through the optional community subscription.

Stacia Yearwood is a published writer, educator, and founder of The Write Therapy. She holds a master’s in creative writing and literary journalism and has taught writing at secondary and university levels in the United States and the Caribbean. Her work has appeared in Bellevue Literary Review and Beltway Poetry Quarterly. She created Fragment to Full Draft to bring practical writing instruction together with reflection, curiosity, and community. Her approach helps you develop your craft and make thoughtful choices about your work while leaving room for your own voice.

  • Do I need experience or a clear book idea?

    No. You can begin with an idea, a few pages, or curiosity. The early exercises help you explore possibilities. As you move into drafting, you will choose material or a project to develop. To see the course breakdown, including our core curriculum, see the "Course Curriculum" section above.

  • Does my writing have to be for publication?

    No. You may be writing for yourself, your family, or a wider audience. The craft matters whether you are preserving memories, exploring an idea, or working toward a book.

  • How does the live community work?

    Your course purchase includes one selected 12-week community season, with six Writing Pods and six Saturday Brunch Sprints. Live participation is optional. Review the season dates and times before choosing your place.

  • What happens if I join between seasons?

    You can begin the self-paced lessons and use the resources immediately. Live participation follows the published community calendar. Check the available season dates before enrolling.

  • How long will I have access?

    You receive lifetime access to the course resources, subject to the platform’s access terms. Included live community participation is limited to your selected 12-week season. Optional continued participation is purchased separately; review the current price and terms before joining.

  • Are the three workbooks included?

    Yes. The Writer’s Field Notes, The Drafting Sprint Workbook, and Learning to Edit Like the Pros are included with the full course. They are also sold separately for independent use, without lessons, live sessions, or individual feedback.

  • Will I finish a book?

    The course supports progress toward a first draft. Completion depends on your project, starting point, and the work you put in. It does not guarantee a completed manuscript or publication.

  • Do you offer refunds?

    You may request a full refund within seven days of purchase after exploring the course and attempting some coursework. Requests are reviewed individually. Email your request with a brief explanation.

  • Do you provide editing and publishing assistance?

    Manuscript reviews, editing, and self-publishing support are available separately. These services are tailored to the project and quoted independently of the course. Standard enrollment does not include individual editing of your entire manuscript.
